Coach Cat is an Air Force veteran and an award-winning cheerleading coach. Currently, Cat is the Varsity Head Cheerleading Coach at Taunton High School and has been nominated for the 2024 Unsung Hero award in the town of Cumberland. In November 2024, Cat's team won 1st place in both the Rhode Island Preteen State Championship and the New England Cheer and Dance Competition. In 2023, Cat's team won 2nd place in both the Rhode Island Preteen States Competition and the New England Cheer and Dance Competition. Since 2017, Cat has been the head cheerleading coach for Cumberland Jr Clippers. In 2019, Cat's team won the RI State Championship and Best Choreography Award, Cat was also named Coach of the Year. From 2016-2019, Cat was a Gymnastics Coach at Dream Big Gymnastics coaching ages 2-17. Cat is also CPR and Concussion Certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of all athletes. Prior to coaching, Cat was heavily involved in the Cheer, Dance and pageant world as a performer and athlete. Cat now uses her knowledge and skills to empower young athletes to grow and reach their full potential.
